This three-month after-school program is conducted at our facility at the Washington Warren Airport from 4:00 P.M. to 5:30 PM, twice per week. The program will have 38 student contact hours. Our after-school curriculum is built around an academic standards-based vehicle engineering/CAD software package. In this program, the students design and create vehicle parts using a 3-D printer, and then construct an electric vehicle using these parts. The students will utilize a wind tunnel to test aerodynamic drag.  The curriculum has been peer-reviewed and designed by engineers for 6th-8th-grade students.
