February 13, 2018, marked a major milestone in our nonprofit history. We were able to complete the construction of our new Aviation, Technology and Fitness Center. It is located at the Washington-Warren Airport at 201 Airport Rd Washington, NC. This 6,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility serves as headquarters of the Inner Banks STEM Center. This facility is also where our classrooms are located and where we conduct our summer camps and Saturday Academies.

In January 2016, the City Council, Washington, NC, passed a resolution that authorized the Inner Banks STEM Center to enter into a long-term land lease on property located at the Washington-Warren Airport, Washington, NC. A successful capital fund raising campaign resulted in approximately $280,000 being raised from donations from foundations, corporations, and private contributions. These funds were used to construct our new facility.
